How do you match my child with the right tutor?
We begin with a consultation or intake questionnaire to learn about your child’s grade level, learning style, personality, and academic goals. Based on that information, we carefully match your child with a tutor who has the right experience and teaching approach. If the match doesn’t feel right after the first session, we’ll quickly find a better fit.
Do you offer in-person or online tutoring?
Yes. We offer both in-person and virtual tutoring. In-person sessions usually take place in your home, or at a library or public location if needed. Online tutoring is available through secure video platforms with interactive tools, and families can also choose a hybrid option.
What subjects and tests do you cover?
We support students from preschool through high school in all major subjects, including reading, writing, and math. We also offer homework help, foreign language tutoring, executive functioning support, enrichment programs, Orton-Gillingham instruction, and test preparation for exams such as the ISEE, SSAT, and SHSAT.
Do I need to sign a contract or make a long-term commitment?
No. We don’t require long-term contracts. Tutoring is flexible and can be adjusted, paused, or stopped based on your family’s needs. We simply ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
